Company Information

To edit your Company Information, go to your Account page and click the options icon (3-dots) in the top-right corner of the Company Information box.

Your Company Information is used throughout the application — most importantly in Consent Logs. When your website collects data from visitors, you act as the data controller. When you export a Proof-of-Consent report, the log file includes fields identifying both the business and the person responsible for privacy and compliance:

  • If you run your own website, your contact information should populate these fields.
  • If you run a website for a business with a dedicated privacy or compliance team, the team lead’s contact information should populate these fields.

Company Logo

To edit your Company Logo, go to your Account page and click Edit Logo in the Company Information box. Upload your preferred logo or image and it appears in the top-right of your Cookie Compliance app.

Understanding Domain Status

Each domain in your Account shows a status. It reflects two things: whether the banner is deployed and serving, and whether the domain’s subscription is paid. The states you’ll see:

  • Inactive — the domain has been created but the banner isn’t serving yet. A domain starts here. Once you configure and Publish your banner and it syncs with your site, the status moves to Active.
  • Active — the banner is live and behaving as expected.
  • Pending — the domain is set up but isn’t connecting yet (for example, the snippet or plugin hasn’t been installed, or the account email still needs verifying). Finish connecting the site to move it to Active.

What happens when a payment fails. If a renewal payment fails, your domain is not affected immediately — there is a 7-day grace period during which the banner keeps working normally while you update your payment method. If payment is recovered within those 7 days, nothing changes. If it isn’t, the domain is downgraded to the free plan: the consent banner keeps serving, but the Professional protections wind down to free-tier limits — once you pass the free visit threshold, Autoblocking and consent-log storage stop, so non-essential scripts are no longer held before consent and new consent records are no longer kept. Because that can affect your compliance, update your payment method promptly (see Billing and Subscription Management); the domain returns to full Professional protection once a successful payment is processed.

Deleting your account

To close your account — cancelling future payments and removing your domain data — go to your Account page, click the 3-dot menu in the Company Information box, and select Delete Account. After you confirm, your account enters a pending-deletion state for 24 hours; after that, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted.

Before deleting, export a CSV of your Consent Logs if you need to keep a copy of your proof-of-consent records — deletion is permanent. To remove a single domain rather than your whole account, or to cancel a subscription while keeping your account, see Billing and Subscription Management and How do I delete my account?
