Plan Overview

Cookie Compliance offers two plan tiers:

Professional Plan Pricing

The Professional plan uses a per-domain subscription model. Each website (domain) that needs Professional features requires a domain slot in your plan.

Annual billing saves 17% compared to paying monthly.

How to Subscribe

From the WordPress Plugin

1. Open WP Admin → Compliance.
2. If you are on the Free plan, click any Upgrade or Upgrade to Pro button. The pricing window opens.
3. Select your desired plan (1, 5, or 10 domains).
4. Choose Monthly or Yearly billing.
5. Click Select Plan (Get Started if you are not on the free plan). The Braintree hosted-fields payment form opens directly inside the modal (no redirect for free-tier upgrades).
6. Enter card details (or use PayPal) inside the modal and submit. On successful payment the domain you upgraded from is moved to Professional right away.

Note: a Professional subscription applies to a specific domain. If you buy a plan from the Subscriptions area without choosing a domain, the payment succeeds but no domain is upgraded until you assign the license to one (see Assign a license to a domain below).

From the Hu-manity.co Portal

1. Log in at app.hu-manity.co.
2. Navigate to your Account settings.
3. Select a subscription plan and complete payment.

Payment Methods

The following payment methods are supported:

• Credit or debit card — processed via Braintree (credit card and PayPal) in the WP plugin and Admin Portal. The Admin Portal also offers Stripe as a second card option.
• PayPal — available through the Braintree payment flow.

Payment processing is PCI-compliant. Card details are never stored on Hu-manity.co servers.

Managing Your Subscription

Viewing Your Current Plan

In the WordPress plugin, your current plan (Free Plan or Pro) is displayed throughout the admin interface. Professional features show a Pro badge. In the portal, navigate to Account to see your active subscription details.

The portal and your live banner reflect a plan change straight away. The WordPress plugin shows the plan it last synced, and refreshes automatically on its twice-daily sync and whenever you open the plugin admin page — or instantly when you click Pull latest settings in the plugin's Domain Info sidebar.

Assign a License to a Domain

A Professional subscription is assigned per domain. A plan that is purchased but not yet attached to a domain leaves that domain on Free. To assign a license:

1. Log in to app.hu-manity.co and open your Account page.
2. Find the domain and choose the Upgrade option.
3. In the window that appears, open the Use a license tab, choose your Professional subscription from the list, and click Select.

The domain now shows a Subscription ID and an Expires (UTC) date in the portal, and your live banner is on the Professional plan immediately. To update the WordPress plugin view right away, open the plugin and click Pull latest settings.

Changing Your Plan

To upgrade from a 1-domain plan to a 5-domain or 10-domain plan, or to switch between monthly and yearly billing:

1. Log in to app.hu-manity.co.
2. Go to Account → Subscription.
3. Select the new plan or billing cycle.
4. Confirm the change. The new plan applies straight away. On a Braintree (card or PayPal) subscription the new price is charged from your next billing date, with no proration, and switching between monthly and yearly is not available; Stripe subscriptions are prorated.

Updating Payment Method

To update your credit card or payment method:

1. Log in to app.hu-manity.co.
2. Navigate to Account → Subscription.
3. Open the 3-dot menu on the subscription and click Update Payment.
4. Enter your new payment details and save.

If you got a payment-failed email, its link opens the Update Payment window directly for the subscription that failed, once you are logged in. If it does not open, use the steps above.

Accessing Invoices

Invoices for past payments are available in the portal under Account → Subscription. You can view and download invoices for your records.

Discount Codes

If you have a discount code, type it into the Discount code box when you subscribe and click Apply (or press Enter). The checkout then shows the discount, what you pay for the first payment, and what you pay after that. A link that ends in ?discount=YOURCODE fills the box for you if you subscribe within 7 days of opening it, in the same browser.

• A subscription can have one discount. Discounts cannot be combined.
• Our code JOIN-40D takes 40% off the first payment of a new paid subscription. After the first payment the price returns to the plan's regular price, and the checkout shows this with a line such as “Then $X after the first payment.” Trial plans cannot use a code.
• A code can have an expiry date or a usage limit. The checkout tells you if a code has expired, has been used up, or can't be used with the selected plan or payment method.
• If you type a code but do not apply it, the button that completes your subscription stays disabled. Apply the code or click Remove to continue. If a code is refused, the checkout shows why.

Cancellation

To cancel your Professional subscription:

1. Log in to app.hu-manity.co.
2. Go to Account → Subscription.
3. Open the 3-dot menu on the subscription and click Cancel Subscription.
4. Your Professional features remain active until the end of your current billing period.

After cancellation, your site reverts to the Free plan. Your consent banner continues to display, but Professional features (Facebook/Microsoft Consent Mode, geographic enforcement, advanced analytics, and exportable consent proofs) become unavailable. Consent data collected while on the Professional plan is retained.

Refunds

We refund the first payment of a subscription if you ask within 14 days of that payment. We also refund payments made in error (a billing error or a duplicate charge) and the affected part of a payment for any period in which the service was unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours. Other payments, including renewals, are not refunded. To request a refund, contact support with your subscription ID.

Free Plan Thresholds

The Free plan includes a monthly session threshold for autoblocking and consent recording. When you reach 70% of your threshold, a usage nudge appears in the WordPress admin. If you exceed the threshold, autoblocking protection pauses until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade to Professional.
