Privacy Policy Link

What it is

Shows a button/link on the banner that takes visitors to your site’s Privacy Policy (or any “information page”) so they can quickly understand how you handle personal data.

A Privacy Policy page is your site’s single source of truth about how you collect, use, store, share, and protect personal data. It explains—plainly and in one place—what you collect, why you collect it, who you share it with, how long you keep it, how users can exercise their rights (access, deletion, opt-out), and how to contact you.

How it works

• The banner renders a Privacy Policy action (label defaults to “Privacy policy”).
• When clicked, the visitor is redirected to the URL you’ve configured.

Troubleshooting

• The link doesn’t show: Make sure the Privacy Policy option is toggled on in your project or plugin settings.
• Wrong page opens: Check the configured URL (and the language you’re previewing).
• Text won’t translate: Verify your language is enabled and that you set the label for that language.
