Where is my App-ID and Secret Key?

In v3, the Compliance by Hu-manity.co plugin connects to the platform automatically during the onboarding flow. Manual App-ID and Secret Key entry is only needed for multisite installs or reconnection scenarios.

Primary path: automatic connection via WelcomeModal

1. Install and activate the Compliance by Hu-manity.co plugin in WordPress.
2. The WelcomeModal opens automatically on first activation.
3. Complete the three-step flow: Choose Protection → Confirm → Create Account (or sign in).
4. The plugin connects to the platform and the React admin opens with the Protection, Settings, and Audit Trail tabs.

No manual credential entry is required for new single-site installs.

Fallback: manual App-ID and Secret Key entry

If you need to reconnect an existing site, connect a multisite network subsite, or the automatic flow did not complete:

1. Go to the Account page in the Compliance portal.
2. In the Domains table, click the 3-dot icon next to your domain URL and select Edit Domain.
3. Your App-ID and Secret Key are at the bottom of the Edit Domain window.
4. In WordPress admin, open Compliance by Hu-manity.co plugin settings.
5. Paste your App-ID and Secret Key into the connection fields and click Save Changes.

Once connected, configure your banner through the WordPress admin’s Protection and Settings tabs, or via the Compliance portal at app.hu-manity.co. To publish changes made in the portal, click Publish Now from the Configuration page.
