How to Reactivate Your Cookie Compliance Account
How to Reactivate Your Cookie Compliance Account
Your account, domains, and settings are still here. Nothing was deleted when you stopped using the service. This guide walks you through signing back in, getting your site reconnected, and turning compliance protection back on — including GPC if you weren't using it before.
If you only need one thing: visit app.hu-manity.co and sign in with the email you registered with. Most accounts can be back online in under five minutes.
Step 1 — Sign back in
Go to app.hu-manity.co/#/login and enter the email you originally registered with. If you're not sure which email you used, check past billing receipts from cookie-compliance.co — that address is your login.
If your password no longer works, use Reset Password. A reset link arrives in under a minute as long as the email exists in our system.
If the reset email never arrives, the account is most likely under a different address. Try other emails you commonly use for SaaS subscriptions. If you can't recover the original account, create a new one — it takes about thirty seconds.
Step 2 — Confirm your domain is still listed
Once you're signed in, the dashboard shows every domain you have configured.
- If your domain appears with a status of Active, your site is already protected and you can skip ahead to Step 4.
- If your domain appears with Pending or Inactive, your account is set up but your site isn't connecting — continue to Step 3.
- If your domain isn't listed, click + Add Domain and follow the prompts. You'll need to either install the WordPress plugin or paste the snippet into your site's
<head>(see Adding a Domain for details).
Step 3 — Reconnect your site
This step only applies if your domain shows Pending or Inactive.
WordPress sites
- In your WordPress admin, open the Compliance menu in the sidebar.
- Confirm the App ID and Secret Key fields are filled in. If they are blank or you suspect they're wrong, copy them fresh from the application's Integrations page.
- Click Save Changes.
- Return to the application. If the status is still Pending or Inactive after 30 seconds, open Configuration, click Publish Now, and then click Save Changes in WordPress again.
Non-WordPress sites
- In the application, open Integrations and copy the generated snippet.
- Paste the
<script>block into the<head>section of your site, before any analytics or advertising scripts, and save your HTML. - Return to the application. If the status is still Pending or Inactive after 30 seconds, open Configuration and click Publish Now.
